Chevy Silverado 1500 ZR2 Bison

For those of you who embrace travel where the pavement ends and the dirt and mud begins, you're in luck. The Chevy Silverado 1500 ZR2 has long been considered the "Holy Grail" of off-road-ready vehicles. Well, things just got even more exciting with the ZR2 Bison Edition. This crew-cab exclusive off-roading beat is every daredevil's dream from the ground up. It all starts with 4WD and a variety of skid plates to protect the undercarriage of your truck while you're embarking on your next adventure. With 11.2 in ground clearance, contact with roadblocks and obstacles is now a thing of the past.

The experts at AEV have equipped the Bison with exceptional transfer cases, bumpers, and wheels to allow for optimum performance, of which Chevy holds absolutely nothing back. Two powertrains are available and push performance to the absolute limit. A 6.2L V8 with 420 hp and the capacity to generate 460 lb-ft of torque and a 3.0L Duramax Turbo Diesel Six-cylinder with an impressive 495 lb-ft of torque delivered to all four wheels. Both engines pair with a ten-speed automatic transmission that offers optimum performance.

Chevy Silverado 1500 Realtree

While some off-roaders enjoy spending their time in the dirt, others enjoy their time away from civilization among the serenity of the forest. Exploring these avenues is ideal with the Realtree edition of the Silverado 1500. The Realtree is available on the Custom Trail Boss trim and has features such as 18-inch wheels and a two-inch factory-lifted suspension.

Built with the rugged outdoorsman in mind, it features a spray-on bedliner for additional protection. Tow hooks and round assist steps are ideal for building a log cabin far away from city limits. Aesthetic additions such as camouflage accents are pleasing to the eye and enhance the rugged style of the vehicle in question.

Chevy Silverado Redline Edition

One topic that's become subject to debate in recent years is whether or not pickup trucks are becoming the new "Cadillacs" of the road. That is to say, they've surpassed their reputation as being for the working world and now exhibit style and finesse, sometimes taking the form of a status symbol. If that's the case, the Redline edition of the Silverado 1500 is precisely what you need to make a memorable first impression wherever you go.

As you might have assumed from the name alone, red and black accents can be found throughout the Redline edition, including its tow hooks, rearview mirrors, and, most impressive of all, 20-inch gloss black wheels with just the right touch of red to make the vehicle stand out among the competition. The Redline addition has more than cosmetic touches; it also features the Chevytec bed-liner to protect your truck when hauling cargo.

Chevy Silverado Midnight Edition

When it comes to striking appearances that excite and amaze, many have associated this with the Denali trim found on GMC vehicles. Chevy and GMC are siblings, so Chevy has their unique take on the blacked-out trim that commands respect. This edition, available on the LT and Custom Trail Boss trims, turns the Silverado into a black knight.

The vehicle's exterior is jet black from the ground up, from the wheels, windows, and body. Like the Redline, the Midnight Edition is far from just a dressed-up exterior catering to the public's love of style and aesthetics. The Midnight comes with the renowned Z71 off-road package, elevating the vehicle to an instant off-roader. This is further accentuated with a two-inch suspension lift and available 20-inch gloss black wheels set with all-terrain tires from Goodyear. High-intensity LED headlights provide maximum visibility on the path less traveled, and the interior is given a set of all-weather floor mats to keep the first and dust away.

Chevy Silverado Rally Editions

When we first began our look at the special editions of the Chevy Silverado 1500, we took a close look at the beefy ZR2 Bison, which is ideally suited for the road less traveled. We conclude our deep dive with a version of the Silverado that fits the city-dwelling driver. Available for the Custom and RST trims of the Silverado, the Rally Edition happens when Chevy takes the aesthetic of street racing and applies them to the pickup truck.

Chevy Silverado 1500 Custom Rally Edition

The Custom trim includes some major aesthetic upgrades meant to accentuate the city's sights as it travels down the road. The Custom sits on a set of 20-inch wheels painted jet-black to deliver that bold look many city drivers gravitate towards. Like the Midnight Edition, many different parts of the truck, including the logo, tailgate lettering, and exhaust tips, are all painted black to exhilarate the vehicle's look. This includes black Silverado nameplates and tailgate lettering, along with a sharp set of rally stripes on the hood and tailgate.

Chevy Silverado 1500 RST Rally Edition

The RST variation of the Rally Edition expands its aesthetics to create a more striking image. While it still utilizes a set of 20-inch wheels, the stand set has a high gloss paint, and drivers can upgrade this to 22-inch wheels. You'll also receive the Bed Protection package, which includes the Chevytec bed liner and an additional liner for the rear wheelhouse. Based on your performance preferences, various upgrades, such as exhaust and suspension additions, are available on both trims to make your Rally edition more race-ready.
