- Improved towing capability: Silverado's most efficient engines now boast greatly improved max towing capacities compared to their 2020 predecessors. The turbocharged 2.7-liter engine can now tow up to 9,500 pounds (+2,600) in the new Regular Cab Long Box configuration. Additionally, the 3.0-liter Duramax turbodiesel sees an MSRP reduction of $1,500 and a new max tow rating of 9,500 pounds (+1,900).
- New Towing Tech: The 2021 Silverado adds new technologies that provide a simpler and safer towing experience. Jack-Knife alert monitors the trailer's position in relation to the truck and alerts the driver to a potential jack-knife situation. Trailer Length Indicator displays a red overlay twice the compatible trailer's length, making it easier to determine when it's safe to change lanes.
- New Multi-Flex Tailgate: Available across the Silverado lineup, this new six-function tailgate provides easier access to the cargo bed, enhanced loading configurations, and a standing workstation.
- Wireless Smartphone Integration: Marlow Heights drivers can enjoy seamless cable-free smartphone integration with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, standard on LT and High Country and available on LT, LT Trail Boss, and RST.
